Lagu baru Weird Genius berjudul Glorious terpilih menjadi official theme song FIFA U-20 World Cup Argentina 2023.
Pada 12 Mei 2023 lalu, Weird Genius resmi meluncurkan lagu baru Glorious yang bisa didengarkan melalui aplikasi streaming.
Selain itu, music video lagu Glorious juga sudah dirilis di Youtube.
Sebelumnya FIFA melalui laman resminya, mengumumkan penetapan lagu Glorious sebagai official theme song Piala Dunia U20 di Argentina.
"Lagu berjudul "Glorious" yang ditulis oleh Weird Genius dan tiga bintang muda Indonesia, Lyodra, Tiara Andini, dan Ziva Magnolya akan menjadi soundtrack drama, ketegangan, dan keseruan turnamen Piala Dunia U20 2023," tulis FIFA seperti dikutip Grid.ID, Jumat (19/5/2023).
Melansir Kompas.com, lagu ini awalnya akan dirilis pada 31 Maret 2023 namun diundur setelah Indonesia gagal menjadi tuan rumah.
Lagu ini menjadi satu-satunya kontribusi Indonesia di Piala Dunia U20 setelah gagal menjadi tuan rumah.
