Grid.ID - James Arthur baru saja merilis lagu baru berjudul Free Falling yang easy listening.
Lagu baru ini memiliki lirik yang romantis yang ternyata dibuat James Arthur saat di depan piano.
Melansir Genius.com pada Senin (29/1/2024), James Arthur mengungkap proses penulisan lirik lagu baru ini.
"Saya duduk di depan piano dan mulai bernyanyi, 'Jenny di masa depan punya cinta baru.' Para pemuda itu berkata, 'Mengapa kamu terus menyanyikan nama orang?'," kata James Arthur.

"Saya suka hal itu ketika (liriknya) sangat mendalam. Anda dapat membayangkan apa yang sedang terjadi dan menghadirkan karakter ke dalam lagu," tambahnya.
"Saya kira dari mana saya berasal adalah saya membayangkan kisah tentang seorang pria yang menyaksikan dunia berlalu dan sangat iri dengan kebahagiaan orang lain," lanjutnya.
James Arthur mengungkap bahwa pria dalam lagu ini menginginkan validasi atas perasaannya.
"Dia ingin validasi. Hal itu memberi banyak pengaruh pada cerita saya, di mana saya merasa seperti berada di luar dan melihat ke dalam dan tidak dikenali," sambungnya.
