Grid.ID – Penyanyi asal Amerika, Demi Lovato, baru saja merilis lagu baru yang berjudul ‘Swine’ pada 22 Juni 2023.
Melansir Billboard.com, lagu baru ini dirilis dua hari sebelum peringatan satu tahun keputusan Mahkamah Agung tentang aborsi.
Keputusan yang mencabut hak konstitusional atas aborsi yang aman ini memang menciptakan pro dan kontra.
Melalui ‘Swine’, Demi Lovato menyuarakan kegelisahannya terhadap regulasi-regulasi yang menghambat kebebasan hidup individu.
Lirik yang ada dalam lagu ‘Swine’ ini menggambarkan protes untuk mendapatkan kebebasan sepenuhnya untuk hidup sesuai dengan keinginan sendiri.
Melalui Instagramnya, Demi Lovato juga mengajak orang-orang untuk terus bersatu memperjuangkan keadilan reporduktif.
Lagu baru penyanyi berusia 30 tahun ini juga sekali lagi menampilkan aura rock star Demi Lovato yang agresif.
